Skateistan

Skateistan is an award-winning international non-profit organisation that uses skateboarding and education to empower children. Over 2,500 children, aged 5–17, attend Skateistan’s programs in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa. 50% of students are girls.

Brief: Gain donations for Skateistan to support their ‘skate and create’ programme.

Concept: Skateboarding is for Everybody

Execution: Using authentic footage form their sites hero how difference can be united through skateboarding. The film is a collaboration with the children of Skateistan telling their relationship with the skateboarding.

Result: $190,000 of donations as a direct outcome of the campaign film, their most successful campaign to date.
